My First Seven Quick Takes. Im sure I will get this wrong. :)
1.
1.
I updated my page on St. Hildegard of Bingen. Make sure to read about this wonderful saint!
2.
Also, I got on twitter (here we go!) The ladies at #cathsorority have been awesome. I haven't felt this welcome in a long time!
3.
If you want to read about a big, wonderful family, check it out! (It is my family, so I guess I could be a little biased!)
4.
Found a old friend on the blogosphere! She blogs here and writes all about the amazing summer we met! It's truly a small world out there.
5.
I am VERY excited for this new book: The Art of Fermentation.
Fermenting foods has been one of the most exciting things I have done in the kitchen. I have disliked science until now!
6.
I am running out of Quick Takes. Hmmm....Father's homily this morning talked about Christian couples in some parts of Europe (England, maybe?) that are not allowed to adopt children for fear of the kids being brain washed into Christian doctrine. Not sure of his source but THIS STUFF IS REAL. The battle for the family is NOW. Get out those rosaries!
7.
Now how did I do? I love this whole blogging thing!
"Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only such as
is good for edifying, as fits the occasion, that it may impart grace to
those who hear.
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, with all malice,
and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."
and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."
- Ephesians 4:29-32, RSV
